Camden Windjammer Festival This Weekend

Celebrate Camden's maritime heritage this weekend at the Camden Windjammer Festival. Every Labor Day weekend thousands from all over the country come to Camden to see dozens of majestic schooners. This year marks the 16th Camden Windjammer Festival. Here's what some of the weekend will consist of.Friday, August 30th:

Noon: Festival starts
5pm: Formal welcome to the fleet
7-9 pm: Schooner Talent Show at Harbor Park
9pm: Fireworks over the Harbor

Saturday, August 31st:

7:30-10:30am: Camden Rotary Pancake Breakfast
9-5: Maritime Heritage Fair
11am: Crate Race
Noon to 5pm: Music in the streets

Sunday, September 1st

10-4: Maritime Heritage Fair
10:30-11am: Pirate Hellion Brigade Recruiting
noon: Build-A-Boat Race
12:15: Hellion Brigade Muster
4pm: All Comers Boat Parade
