It's that time of year to celebrate the incredible, edible, egg! The 41st Central Maine Egg Festival will going on July 15 until July 20 with events throughout the Central Maine town of Pittsfield.It all kicks off on Monday at Hathorn Park  with the Dexter Community Band at 6 p.m. and The Shrine Band at 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday,July 16th will feature an art show from 10 to 6 at the Pittsfield Public Library and a street dance starting at 7 p.m. in the municipal parking lot.

Wednesday, July 17th it's Egglympics at Hathorn Park with fun & games for all the kids! Plus live music at Hathorn Park with three bands from 6p.m. until 9p.m.

Thursday, July 18th events include the Art Show, A Marketplace Tent, The Kiwanis Kiddie Parade, The Dexter Community Band, The Shrine Band and the Kiwanis Karnival opens that evening.

Friday, July 19th the fun continues with the Art Show, Marketplace Tent, The Kiwanis Karnival and live entertainment.

The final day of the Central Maine Egg Festival is the big day of the week. It starts early at 6 a.m with the Early Bird Pancake Breakfast. Highlights on Saturday include the Famous Big Parade starting at 9:15 a.m., The Magic of Conjuring Carroll, the Sebasticook Valley Community Band, a chicken and steak BBQ, several live bands and fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
