Central Maine Sports: Maine Sports Hall of Fame Inductees; Sox Swept by Yanks
Nine people were inducted into the Maine Sports Hall of Fame Sunday.
- Eric Weinrich of Gardiner, skated for UMaine and played 17 years in the NHL.
- Marcie Lane Schulenberg, a 1989 Cony High School graduate, starred on two Class A state championship basketball teams and two state championship field hockey teams.
- Anna Goodale of Camden, who won Olympic gold in rowing.
- Glenn Dumont, a Winslow grad and former football All-American and a member of the coaching staff for two Winslow state championship teams.
