Sadly, in recent years, we have seen a major increase in the number of children killed in the State of Maine.  According to an article from WGME, 2021 was the worst year on record for child deaths in Maine.  According to the article there were twice as many child deaths in 2021 as there were in 2020.

According to News Center Maine, over 30 Maine children have been murdered in Maine since 2007.
