For the last few years, the guys from the North Woods Outlaws, a local country hip hop group, have been using their influence to give back to the community.

In addition to hosting a free Thanksgiving dinner each November, and hosting periodic parties throughout the year (the money made from which goes to support their charitable projects, they also host a winter clothing giveaway.

They call it Operation Keep 'Em Warm.  The 2025 event is the 7th annual.  Each year, throughout the fall, they collect winter clothing items from people in our community.  Coats, scarves, boots, gloves, mittens, and hats, for example.  Many of the items come from collection boxes inside local businesses.  For example, all ESM offices had a box this year.

In the first few weeks of the winter, they do a giveaway event.

This year, that event will be held at Mill Park in Augusta on Sunday, December 21st.  The fun starts at 10 AM.

Anyone in need can simply stop by and grab what they need.

In addition to the winter clothing, they normally have food.  Plus, there will be hot cocoa provided by Ancorum Credit Union.
