Country News: Country Stars Helping Houston Hurricane Victims

A lot of country stars are getting behind the recovery efforts of Hurricane Harvey. Alan Jackson’s Nashville bar started (hash tag) Honky Tonks 4 Texas for Harvey victims. George Strait teased he has something big coming for victims of the Hurricane saying: working on putting on relief efforts with the whole country music community.

Kip Moore teamed with skateboarder Tony Hawk for the ever Music City Skate Jam. The event will take place on September 10 in downtown Nashville. According to theboot.com the event will feature skateboard demos and a performance from Kip Moore with funds raised going to Moore’s Kip’s Kids Fund and Hawk’s Tony Hawk Foundation.

Little Big Town will get a star on the Music City walk of Fame. They will be inducted as part pf tribute to the Ryman Auditorium’s 125 year celebration. On theboot.com the ceremony will take place on September 14 at Walk of Fame Park.
