Country News: Faith Hill on Vocal Rest

Country star John Anderson had to cancel his appearance at the Main Street Music Festival in Alabama due to a serious medical issue. A statement said he would be under the care and direct supervision of a Nashville doctor. On theboot.com the statement continued to say they are hopeful he will begin to healing soon. Craig Morgan stepped in for Anderson.

Faith Hill has been put on vocal rest and Tim and Faith’s Soul2Soul Tour in Arkansas had to be cancelled. According to theboot.com Hill has been put on a two days of vocal rest by her doctor. The Little rock concert was their only stop in Arkansas.

Maren Morris said she had no idea her fiancé Ryan Hurd was going to propose to her over the 4^th of July weekend. The proposal came at his family’s lake house in Michigan. Morris tells theboot.com she wasn’t at all dressed for the occasion.  She said she was dressed in sweats and had her glasses on. She said she didn’t look cute at all and that’s how she knew he really loved her. Hurd said it wasn’t really thought out. He had the ring in his pocket and spontaneously decided to go for it.
