Country News: Lady Gaga to Star as Country Singer in Remake of A Star Is Born
Lady Gaga is writing new music for a major motion picture in which she will play a country singer. It’s a remake of ‘Star Is Born’ costarring Bradley Cooper. The original film was in 1976 starring Kris Kristofferson and Barbara Streisand. USA Today recently shared a first look at the filming of the movie, set for a September 2018 release.

This fall Charlie Daniels will release his memoirs titled ‘Never Look at the empty Seats.’ He says it’s a look at the real ups and downs of his life both personally and professionally. The book will include stories about everything from Daniels’ post-Depression era childhood to becoming a Grammy winner and Country Music Hall of Famer.
