Country News: Nashville Stars Watch Predators Lose Stanley Cup

Nashville is in a state of morning today as the Nashville Predators lost the Stanley Cup finals to the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Pens took game six 2-0 to win the series and many country stars were on hand to see the game. According to tasteofcountry.com dozens of artists including Faith Hill (who sang the national anthem), Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood and more were tweeting in the final moments of the game.

Sam Hunt cancelled his performance at the Taste of Country Music Festival Sunday Night. Tastseofcountry.com says the reason for the cancellation was Sam Hunt was sick. Hunt says it’s the first time he has had to pull out of concert but told fans via social media he could not sing the songs in a way that would do them justice.

Miranda Lambert says she is not a fan of tour pranks. She tells tasteofcountry.com she won’t prank her opening acts and they may not to try to prank her. She does say end-of-tour pranks can be fun but backstage not when they interfere with the show.
