Stanley Cup May Coming to Maine on August 3

The Pittsburgh Penguins won the Stanley Cup this year over the San Jose Sharks in 6 games. The Stanley Cup is making its rounds and is tentatively scheduled to be in Maine on Wednesday, August 3^rd.

Penguins’ defenseman and rookie Brian Dumoulin is a native of Biddeford and played a key role in the Stanley Cup finals by logging the second most playing time on the team and scoring the first goal in game 6.

It is tradition for each member of the winning organization to have a period of time to share the Stanley Cup with family and friends. According to Dumoulin’s father, Brian, August 3^rd looks like the day the Stanley Cup will come to Maine but plans have not been finalized.
