Country News: Oops, Luke You’re Fly is Open

We announced last week that Charlie Daniels annual event, Volunteer Jam XX, will be coming in 2018 on March 7. According to theboot.com the benefit is for the Journey Home Project, a military veteran’s organization founded by Daniels. I will also be a tribute to Charlie Daniels and his efforts for Volunteer Jam which has become known worldwide.

On tasteofcountry.com the tells us Leon Rhodes, the guitarist who was an integral part of Ernest Tubb’s Texas Troubadours, as well as the Grand Ole Opry and Hee Haw staff bands, died Saturday morning (Dec. 9) at his Nashville area home at the age of 85.

Luke Bryan was at a concert recently and jamming away as he usually does but there a minor wardrobe malfunction he didn’t know about. On tasteofcountry.com, Bryan was on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon when Fallon brought out a video. It was clip of a concert were Byran was doing his normal shaking and baking when a fan in the front row pointed out Bryan’s fly was open. So what do you do in that situation? You zip up, give the fan a high five and continue on with the show.
