Garth Brooks recently played five shows in Lafayette, Louisiana, and after the final show he made sure to meet a member of the audience after the final show. He noticed an elderly woman holding a sign that said ‘Elvis was my last concert.’ Elvis died 40 years ago so it had been some time she was at a concert so Brooks made sure to introduce himself to his longtime fan. He walked off stage and approached the women in the stands and told her he would be happy to play any song she would like to hear. According to tasteofcountry.com she requested ‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’ and then gave her his guitar when he finished.

Natalie Maines of The Dixie Chicks and her husband of 17 years Adrian Pasdar are filling for divorce. TMZ says the split is amicable and they are citing irreconcilable differences. The country star has allegedly requested joint custody of the couple’s two sons, Jackson, 16, and Beckett, 12.
