Couple Names Baby Eclipse After…You Guessed It

When it comes to our first and middle names, we're all at the will of our parents. Sometimes, this is unfortunate, as in the case of baby hashtag. Parents also have timed their newborns to enter the world as the first baby of the year. Baby Eclipse is a combination of the two.

Eclipse Alizabeth Eubanks entered the world at 8:04 a.m. According to ABC News, the mom, Freedom Eubanks, said she was supposed to be named Violet, but the timing worked out perfect to name her after the solar event.

Not surprisingly, none of the 10 other babies born in the hospital Monday share the name. Or, any other hospital for that matter.
