Cumberland Farms In Augusta Will Be Closed For Almost Two Weeks

The Cumberland Farms store on Mount Vernon Avenue will be closed starting this Monday, May 12th until Saturday, May 24th. The sign on the front door of the stores says that they'll be closed so they can removed the underground gas tanks.

The Augusta Cumberland Farms has not sold gasoline for several months.

When I was in the store this morning, I asked the manager, if the employees would be without work for two weeks. The manger told me that they would be working at other Cumberland Farms locations.

I also asked the manager if this was the beginning of a store 'makeover' that several of their stores have recently received. I was told that it was not.
