A body found in a Maine attic earlier this month has been positively identified as a missing man.

According to an article on the WGME website, a body found in the attic of a home at 55 Grant Street in Portland has been identified as 49-year-old Damian Thomas.

Thomas, who had lived in Portland, was reported missing in March.  He had last been seen in January of 2025.

While police are continuing to investigate his death, they say that Thomas' passing does not appear to be suspicious.
