It looks like Mainers will be voting in November to legalize recreational marijuana. The Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol and supporters of their effort have collect over 100,000 signatures and will be delivering the petitions to the Secretary of State in Augusta today.

That is over the requirement of 61,123 valid signatures of registered Maine voters to qualify for the November ballot.

The referendum would treat marijuana like we treat alcohol and would be taxed, with the money going to the state of Maine.

There would be specific locations where marijuana could be purchased and people would have to be twenty-one or older to buy it.

That leads us to our poll question.
