A random drug search at Gardiner High School, resulted in charges of the sale and use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful drug possession. 44-year old, Tyson Greifzu of Fayette, a math teacher at Gardiner High School since 2000 was charged along with two 16-year old boys.

A random search from the Gardiner police department and officers and dogs from the Maine State Police in three vehicles in the school's parking lot, lead to the charges. Gardiner superintendent Patricia Hopkins says the teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave and he'll appear in the Augusta District Court on November 7th.
