Fire Caused Significant Damage at N.C. Hunt Lumber in Jefferson
A fire broke out at N.C. Hunt Lumber in Jefferson last night.
As of 1:30 this morning the fire had been contained, according to The Lincoln County News. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
According to Chris Rigaud of the Jefferson Fire Department, the fire spanned about an acre of the lumber yard.
Jefferson, Alna, Chelsea, Damariscotta, Newcastle, Nobleboro, Pittston, Somerville, Waldoboro, and Whitefield departments responded to the scene.
