In St. Paul, Minnesota, the fourth annual ‘Cat Video Festival’ took place on Wednesday. It’s held at the St. Paul stadium and 13,000 cat fanatics were there to watch cat videos.

St. Paul’s mayor, Chris Coleman, threw out a ceremonial ball of yarn to mark the opening on the festival. Videos played of the stadiums giant screen and people watched from the stands and on the field.

Selections included clips of a cat startling a bear and a scene from “Jurassic Park” edited to include giant cats. Clips covered were all curated by Will Braden, the creator of the Henri Le Chat Noir videos and recipient of the festival's first Golden Kitty Award.

Miss out on all meows and movies from the festival? This year's winner for the Golden Kitty Award was a video called ‘Cat Behavior Finally Explained’ by Cat CATastrophes.
