Free Ice Cream At Ben & Jerry’s Today

It's free ice cream day at Ben & Jerry's! The Vermont-based company has been celebrating 'Free Cone Day' every year since 1979 and today is the day for 'Free Cone Day 2015'.

Ben & Jerry's will be handing out free cones today from noon until 8 p.m. at its Scoop Shops across the country. They have four Maine locations: Freeport, South Portland, Kennebunkport and Ogunquit.

It's there way of thanking their customers. They expect to giveaway over a million scoops of ice cream.

In addition to thanking their customers, Ben & Jerry's is also hoping to raise awareness about 'climate justice'.
