Gas Prices In Maine & New Hampshire Continue To Skyrocket
If you need to travel for work or family obligations, you no doubt know that gas prices are through the roof throughout most of New England. Unfortunately, they continue to rise.
According to WGME, the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Maine is up over 4 cents from last week. The average price for a gallon of regular gas in the state is about $3.53 a gallon.
Overall, the price for a gallon of regular gas is about 13 cents higher than a month ago and nearly a dollar higher than a year ago.
According to AAA, in Kennebec County, the price is $3.51, it is $3.55 in Somerset County, and $3.54 in Waldo County. The highest price in the state is Aroostook Country where it is almost #.62 a gallon. The lowest price in the state is the $3.53 price in Penobscot County.
In New Hampshire, the highest prices the $3.52 per gallon found in Coos County and the $3.60 per gallon price in Cheshire County. The cheapest was the price of $3.46 per gallon found in Hillsborough County.
