Grand Opening Celebration At Hodgkins School Apartments In Augusta Thursday 6/22

Augusta is about to get some new senior housing and if you grew up on the east side of Augusta, there is a pretty good chance you might be familiar with the building.

Hodgkins Middle School on 17 Malta Street, which was built in 1958, has been converted to 47 units of affordable senior housing and you are invited to come see the transformation.

The public Grand Opening Celebration will be from 4:30 PM-6:30 PM this Thursday at the school.

The event will have fun for all ages including public building tours, live music from Bruce and Derek of The School Street Band, guest speakers, Pickleball play and demonstrations with Augusta Recreation, and food and cash bar provided by Lisa's White Flour Catering.

Augusta Fire will be onsite during the Hodgkins Grand Opening Celebration with their new ladder truck on display. Come check it out!
