Happy National Dog day!
In case you didn't know...It's National Dog Day! I think it should be a national holiday but, that's just me.
It was founded in 2004 by National Dog Day Foundation. National Dog Day wishes to encourage dog ownership of all breeds and embraces the opportunity for all dogs to live a happy, safe and "abuse-free life." I'm certainly down with that mission statement.
During the "Buzz & Kristi In The Morning" show we introduced you to a few furry friends currently looking for a home from the Humane Society of Waterville.
First, I was excited to introduce you to Tig...what a sweet guy!
Who could not fall in love with this small spud he is just the perfect size! He enjoys car rides, walks and is house trained. He is the biggest snuggle bug known to man and it is especially cute when he snorts! Tig seems fine with cats and enjoys kids but would prefer a home with only female dogs.
Next, Kristi introduced us to Rudy...a whole lotta love in a small package!
Rudy is searching for an adult only home. He wants us all to know he really prefers women over men. He does okay with other pets and does not do well with children. But just look at that face...little Rudy is pure love!
I know I was just smitten with Tessa, you can tell just looking at her that her tail would wag so fast she could levitate when she sees her new owner...that could be you!
Tessa is searching for her forever home. She is very affectionate and enjoys lots of belly rubs. Tessa seems fine with cats with proper introduction and enjoys other male dogs. She is very playful and would do best with kids 10+.
All of these lovelys and more are available for adoption from the Humane Society of the Waterville area.
