Head-On Accident Between A School Bus And Vehicle In New Gloucester

An accident this morning occurred between a school bus and a vehicle on Route 231 in New Gloucester.

a portion of Route 231 near Penny Road was shut down.

According to an official at the scene, the driver of the car suffered severe injuries.

Some of the children on the school bus suffered minor injuries.

According to WGME, an official with MSAD 15, the school bus was headed to the Dunn School, which has third and forth grade students.
