Heating Oil Prices Remain Steady In Maine

With mornings routinely below freezing and with furnaces kicking in, there's some good news for those ordering heating oil in Maine. Prices have remained stable over the past week.The latest weekly price survey by the Governor's energy office

finds an average statewide price of $3.53 per gallon for Number 2 heating oil and $3.94 per gallon for kerosene. Both are down one penny per gallon in the past week.

Propane prices inched up one cent per gallon to an average of $2.68.
