Eric Church will be releasing a live, unplugged album from his Summer 2016 Red Rocks concerts in early November. ‘Mr. Misunderstood on the Rocks Live & (Mostly) Unplugged is set for release exclusively through Walmart on November 4th.

Jennifer Nettles will return to her role as host for the 2016 CMA Country Christmas TV special.  The special will tape in front of a live audience on November 8 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville and air on ABC on November 28 at 8 p.m.

Vince Gill has been nominated for songwriting’s most prestigious honor: induction into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame. Gill is one of 12 performing songwriters up for induction into the Hall of Fame, which recognizes composers and lyricists from all over the world.

Kenny Chesney fans, you’d better have seen the country star live this year, or be ready to travel to see him next year. In a recent interview, the singer revealed that his tour calendar will be much less busy in 2017. Chesney’s 2017 tour calendar currently has only three dates on it: He’ll headline the 2017 Tortuga Music Festival in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in April, play the Carolina Country Music Festival in June and headline Country Jam 2017 in Grand Junction, Colorado, which is also set for June.
