According to the Kennebec Journal, a Maine car dealership will be hosting a free COVID vaccine clinic this week in conjunction with Redington-Fairview General Hospital.

Doing their part to help keep the community safe while providing a location, for those who choose to, to get their COVID-19 vaccine. The clinic is set to happen this coming Friday (9-17-21) at Hight Ford's protection building at 250 Madison Ave, Skowhegan.

Redington-Fairview will be administering COVID vaccines between 3:30 and 5:00 PM in an attempt to get more residents of Somerset County vaccinated. Right now the state of Maine sits at 64% of eligible adults vaccinated, though Somerset County falls behind the overall statistic with about 51% vaccinated. Moderna and J&J will be available at the clinic. Must be 18+ and no appointment is necessary.

Sam Hight of Hight Ford and a member of the Redington-Fairview Board of Directors told the Kennebec Journal,

“Our commitment to our community goes beyond providing fair prices and best in class service on vehicles to our customers. It also includes our universal focus on keeping our local area vibrant and in the best position to succeed.”
