When you lose a parent, no matter how old you are, your world changes. It becomes a different place, and it's not easy getting by. 6 year old Brady Campbell knows that to be true when his father passed away from stage 4 colon cancer just a few short weeks ago. Before his father passed away his father told him to take care of his mom, together they came up with the idea to start a lemonade stand to raise money so Brady could take her on a date.

The day after his father died, he did just that, opening a lemonade stand in his front lawn. At first, it was just word of mouth that gathered a crowd around the stand, then the police came to see what the crowd was for; when the officer learned what was happening he radio'd to other first responders. Within the day, police officers, fire fighters and even the news stations covering the story had stopped by to get lemonade from Brady. At the end of the day, Brady got close to $300, to take his mom out on a nice date.
