It’s National Cookie Day, Here’s Where To Find Free Cookies

That's right today is National Cookie Day 2018!

I can't think of too many things that ignite passion in people like...cookies! Sure if it was a weekend, I'd encourage you to preheat the oven and get to mixing but since it's a weekday...maybe someone else can do the cooking! In celebration, many chains, bakeries and restaurants will be giving away cookies and offering special deals special deals online. Here's how the cookie crumbles with a few I was able to track down...

Barnes & Noble: Ok you have to do a little work but it could be worth it! The "My Cookie Story" contest starts today and runs through Dec. 17. Simply share your favorite holiday cookie recipe ans well as the story behind it and you could win $5,000. Get all the details at www.bn.com/mycookiestory.

The Double Tree Hotel:  They just recently announced they will be celebrating the holiday by giving everyone a free cookie today (you don't even have to be a guest) at all U.S. DoubleTree locations.

Insomnia Cookies: Although this national chain doesn't have any locations near us you can still cash in with an online order that will score you one free cookie with any delivery order and through Dec. 10 plus you get 20% off shipping orders.
