I was recently introduced to the exciting world of escape rooms, and at this point, I cannot get enough!

The thrill of being locked in a room with a bunch of your friends, trying to solve a mystery and screaming when you do, makes you feel like you are accomplishing everything.

Maine is not like California, where in literally every city there is a new escape room to choose from. But we aren't doing that bad. From last count, we have at least 10, according to Tripadvisor.

The city of Lewiston is extremely tickled seeing this announcement pop up. Who's hosting this escape room? None other than the Franco Center!

If you enjoy this, you'll definitely like the first-ever escape room coming to Augusta, Maine.

The Franco Center on 46 Cedar Street in Lewiston has officially announced that they have an escape room!

According to their Facebook page, they are only taking cash for now, and it's $10 per escaper. You can book a slot from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., but make sure to reserve ahead of time!

You'll have a whole hour to escape, and if you get stuck, they offer to guide you and give you hints if you ask.

They let everyone know that recently, a mischievous ghost decided to play tricks on them at the Franco Center and left behind some locked boxes. This "ghost" even locked the exit door.

So, if you want to get out, you gotta put your brain muscles to work and solve the codes on those boxes.

If you enjoyed this, you'll also like this kid-friendly escape room being introduced to Augusta, Maine, soon.

Visit the Franco Center to reserve your tickets.

The 20 Most In-Demand Maine Towns to Buy a Home

Here is a list of the 20 most in-demand towns in Maine to buy a home. This list was determined by BetOhio. The company analyzed Realtor.com info to come up with the results. This included two major metrics...

Demand score: a unique listing page viewers per property ranking compared to other ZIP codes, counties, or metro location.

Median days on market: The median number of days property listings spend on the market within the specified geography during the specified month.

These two metrics were put together to come up with the town's Demand Index Score.
