A Maine woman is facing multiple serious charges after state police say she was caught allegedly driving at an extremely high speed while allegedly under the influence in Ossipee, New Hampshire.
New Hampshire State Police report that a Hyundai Venue was recorded traveling 107 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 25 around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday. The speed, nearly double the posted limit, prompted troopers to initiate a traffic stop.

Police say she was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated (DWI), resisting arrest, criminal mischief, breach of bail, and possession of an open container.
Timmons was taken into custody and transported to the Carroll County House of Corrections, where she is being held pending further proceedings.WGME explained that authorities did not immediately release additional details about the circumstances leading to the charges or whether anyone else was involved.
State police remind drivers that speeding and driving under the influence are extremely dangerous offenses that can have serious legal consequences as well as endanger lives on the road.
This case marks another reminder of the importance of following traffic laws, particularly in areas where speed limits are strictly enforced for public safety.
