So, with that in mind, when was the 17-time World Champion’s final wrestling match in Maine, who was it against, and where did it take place?
According to the Cagematch Database, John Cena competed in 11 wrestling matches in Maine, with the final being a win against Rusev on August 12th, 2017, at the Augusta Civic Center during the WWE Live SummerSlam Heatwave Tour.

The night before, on August 11th, 2017, that same tour stopped in Bangor at the Cross Insurance Center, but John Cena did not appear for the Queen City of the East.
Across all of his Maine visits, Cena wrestled in Augusta five times, Portland three times, and Bangor three times.
