This is a big year for the University of Maine and for beer, as fans can now enjoy raising their steins right from the comfort of their seats during football and hockey games.
While alcohol sales will still wrap up at the start of the 3rd quarter and alcohol-free zones will be designated, the school says the new policy—effective beginning September 27th—offers fans more freedom than the traditional beer garden setup, which will continue to operate as well.

And there you have it! Carter Peevy’s arm doesn’t just work on the field—he can sling it off the field, too.
