WNBA Champion, Olympic Gold Medalist Kara Walters Visits Red’s Eats in Wiscasset, Maine

That's exactly what WNBA champion and Olympic gold medalist Kara Wolters did when she stopped by Red's Eats in Wiscasset. 

Red's shared the visit on social media, showing the 6-foot-7 basketball legend all smiles outside the amazing lobster shack.

And honestly?

She picked a pretty legendary spot.

If you've ever driven through Wiscasset in the summer, you've probably seen the famous line stretching down the sidewalk. Around here, waiting in line at Red's is practically a Maine tradition. 

If you don't know Wolters, she had an incredible basketball career guys.

She won an NCAA championship at UConn, captured an Olympic gold medal with Team USA in 2000, and later won a WNBA championship with the Houston Comets. She's also a Women's Basketball Hall of Famer, making her surprise Maine sighting even cooler. 

Of course, once you've checked Red's off your Maine food bucket list, there are plenty of other Midcoast gems worth exploring.
