More luxury condos in Portland, Maine?

Yes. The owner Harry Krigman says that this new development is unique because it's new construction on the Eastern Prom. There's been quite a bit of development on actual Munjoy Hill over the years, but this is new construction on the gorgeous Eastern Prominade. Look for the old 12-unit apartment building and parking lot to be completely torn down.

What will the new luxury condos on the Eastern Prom in Portland, Maine, have?

Oh, these are going to be amazing. It will be a four-story, 46,000-square-foot building with 13 condominiums. But the most impressive part is that there will be a temperature-controlled 15-car garage! The choices of condos range from 1,850 to 2,700 square feet and will have private decks and a garden. It's being designed by a Portland, Maine firm, RDS Architecture.

The developer Greg Shinberg said the project would cost $30 million. What would something like this set you back? Prices start at $1,895,000, and three units are already 'under reservation'. What do the neighbors think? Greg Shinberg told Mainebiz,

The project has been very collaborative with good support from the neighbors. This is a much better use of the property and improves their property values. It’s a beautiful location, right across from the ball field. And the city has been great to work with.

These seem amazing, and I hope well-off Mainers scoop them up.
