I’m not saying I’ve made it my personal mission to find the best wings on the Seacoast… but also… yeah, I kind of have.

And not long after getting to New Hampshire, one place kept popping up... Wing Itz Dover on Central Ave.

But here’s the thing… it wasn’t just me finding it.

It was YOU.

So I threw it out on Facebook:
“Where are the best wings in Dover/Portsmouth?”

What you had to say:  Wing Itz came up early and often.

“Wing Itz.” – Jim Kofos (simple, direct, I respect it)
“The fries alone are worth it.”
“All flats at Wing Itz is the move.”

So naturally… I had to try Wing Itz for myself

This isn’t an ad. This is just me doing what I do, getting out, trying spots, and sharing the ones that hit.

What I ordered (and yeah… I have a system)
5 wings
All flats (this is who I am now)
Cajun dry rub and Blue Cheese

Simple. No distractions. And honestly? They delivered. Crispy, tender and flavorful... just solid wings.

Thanks to Amanda and Connor.  They were so fun and amazing. But let’s talk about the sleeper hit…

The fries. And I know some of you already warned me…

“The fries alone are worth it.” You weren’t lying.

Hand-cut. Double-cooked. Crispy outside, soft inside… exactly what you want. AMAZING!

Also worth it:
Jalapeño wheels – hand-breaded, crispy, little kick
Half Caesar salad – because balance

What’s next on my list:

I didn’t get to everything (yet), it's not Thanksgiving dinner, but I’m already planning my next trip: (maybe I'll order Wing Itz for Friendsgiving)

Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich
Bacon Jam Burger

This might be my spot... prove me wrong! Show me the wings... 😂

So… are these the best wings in Dover/Portsmouth?

This wasn’t unanimous… and everyone has their favorite.

“Eastside Tavern in Rochester! .25 cent wings every Tuesday.” – Paul Cousino

Last Chair Brewery in Plymouth!” – Will Streeter
Mikey’s Seafood Pub & Grill has great wings!” – Lisa Ann
The Looney Bin Bar & Grill” – Michelle Renée Renzi
Muddy River Smokehouse” – Laura Sforza
Sweet Chix Kitchen” – Sherry O’Keefe-Chagaris

And then there was Adam… who basically said: “New Hampshire doesn’t have good wings. I’ve had thousands. Best ever were in Ohio. Respect the honesty brother.

Here’s the real answer:

And based on your responses… this isn’t settled. Not even close.

Let’s keep this going…

If Wing Itz is your spot, cool. I get it.

But if you’re Team Bratskellar… Team Eastside… Team “NH doesn’t have good wings”…

I want to hear from you.

“Best Wings on the Seacoast” might officially be a thing. 🍗🔥

Iconic Diners in New Hampshire

There’s just something about a diner… the coffee that never stops coming, the same booth people have probably been sitting in for 30 years, and a breakfast that somehow hits every single time.

As I’ve been getting to know New Hampshire, one thing became very clear — this state LOVES its diners. And not just any diners… we’re talking iconic, been-here-forever, locals-swear-by-it kind of places.

So I went down the rabbit hole (and got very hungry in the process) and pulled together some of the most iconic diners across the Granite State.

Did we get your favorite? Or are you already mad we missed one? 😅
