Who doesn't remember 'Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox'? Come on, if you don't you're lying!  One of the coolest songs EVER! And the video made the song even better! A take-off of 'Weekend at Bernies' had me laughing from the very first time I saw it!

From his first number one 'Home'  to his last 'Bigger Than the Beatles' Joe Diffie's country career spanned just 5 years from 1990 to 1995. He kept touring after the big hits stopped and scored a top five hit with 'It's Always Somethin'" in 2000.

In 2010, he put out 'Homecoming: The Diffie Family Cookbook' to great reviews. His recipe for Red Velvet Cake is delicious!

Joe Diffie was born in Oklahoma and has had a family history of loving bluegrass music. He actually had a bluegrass band called Special Edition for a while. So, it was a natural thing for him to want to record a bluegrass album. And that's what he did in 2010. He went back to his roots and did something he always wanted to do. His album 'Homecoming: The Bluegrass Album' to coincide with the cookbook.

If you check out his website, you'll see him touring. Below is his first videos 'Pick Up Man.' And if you look closely...you'll see the dead guy from the 'Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox' video...see if you can spot him!
