Kenny Chesney Coming to Bangor, Maine, This Summer
Last fall, we got word that as part of his Sun Goes Down 2024 tour, country legend Kenny Chesney was going to be doing a trio of shows at Gillette Stadium. He’ll be there on August 23rd, August 24th, and August 25th.
While he may not have broken the internet as one other artist did, these shows are selling out fast. You may have noticed that to meet demand, he has been adding on additional concerts.
We’ve got some great news: Kenny Chesney has added a show in Maine.
He’s going to be bringing the Sun Goes Down 2024 tour to the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on Thursday, August 15.
He’ll be joined by “Tennessee Orange” singer Megan Moroney.
About Kenny Chesney
Kenneth Arnold Chesney was born on March 26, 1968, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was into sports during his high school years, and played basketball and football. After graduating, he studied advertising at East Tennessee State University.

After college, he decided to give music a try, and made the move to Nashville. He released a demo album and started playing in local clubs. Like many artists, he started out with a songwriter contract at BMI, but quickly turned that into a recording contract.
In the last three decades, Kenny Chesney has released nearly two dozen albums, released more than forty top 10 hits, and hit the road for 22 headlining tours.
