Learn Snow Sculpting This Weekend in Waterville

If you ever wanted lean snow sculpturing now is your chance.

This Saturday (Feb.24) at Castonguey Square in Waterville two sculptors will be on hand so you can try snow sculpting.

Amanda Bolduc and Cathy Thompson who are winners of the National People's Choice award at the Lake Geneva United States National Snow Sculpting Competition of 2017 and 3rd place overall winners.

This is a free event that runs from 1 to 5 p.m. outside the Common Street Arts Center and for all ages.

They do caution you to dress warm, like snow pant and shoes and try snow sculpting.
At kennebecvalley.org says even if you don't want to try your hand at is you can just watch and it will give you chance to talk to the artists.
