Classic country artists Lonestar and Deana Carter will be performing at the Waterville Opera House in February.

Lonestar had a string of hits in the late 1990s and early 2000s including "Amazed" and "I'm Already There".

Deana Carter is probably best known for her song "Strawberry Wine".

Now, both groups will take the stage at the Waterville Opera House on Friday, February 11th, 2022.  Tickets range in price from $68 to $78.  Get them by clicking HERE

According to Wikipedia, Lonestar is made up of Dean Sams (keyboards, acoustic guitar, background vocals), Michael Britt (lead guitarist, background vocals), Keech Rainwater (drums) and Drew Womack (lead vocals, guitar).  One of the group's previous members was John Rich, of Big & Rich fame.  Formed in 1992, the group was originally named Texassee because the five members were from Texas but met while working at Nashville's Opryland theme park.  Throughout the course of their career they have had nine number one singles.

According to Wikipedia, Deana Carter was born in Nashville in 1966.  Despite the fact that her father was a well-known Nashville singer, it took her a while to break into the music business.  She attended the University of Tennessee and graduated with a degree in rehabilitation therapy.  After college, she worked with recovering stroke and head injury victims.  Her big break in music finally came in 1996 when she released her album "Did I Shave My Legs For This?".  Without a doubt, she is best known for her hit song about young love, "Strawberry Wine"
