Maine Lighthouse License Plate Coming Soon

Maine has a new license plate to support Maine lighthouses.

The new Maine Lighthouse plates received approval from the Maine Sectretary of State's Office and will be available soonbut the state needs 2,000 Mainers to pre-order the plate in order for the Secretary of State to draft legislation for final approval from lawmakers.

Pre order now at mainelighthouse.org. According to wmtw.com the plate costs $25 and estimates a show the plates will generate $200,000 a year for the state.
