It really seems appropriate that we be talking about this on a Throwback Thursday.  Of course, throwback thursday are all about nostalgia.  And, for most of us, one of the most memorable things about childhood were our trips to McDonald's to get a Happy Meal.

While what the kid friendly meals offered have changed over the years, they are a lot healthier now than when we were kids, the basic idea has remained unchanged.  The kids get a burger (or nuggets), sides, a drink, and a toy.  Often, the toys were geared toward movie franchises.

Let me guess, you would be super excited if you had a chance to relive those days, wouldn't you?

Well, the geniuses at McDonald's are doing just that!  They have created an adult version of the Happy Meal.  And yes, it even comes with a toy.

According to Minnesota Public Radio, they are calling them the Cactus Plant Flea Market Meal Box and they come in two varieties.  You can get them with a Big Mac or a ten piece Chicken McNuggets.  They also have an order of fries and a drink.

Oh yeah, they come with a toy, too!  Each of the meals comes with a plastic molded classic McDonald's character: Grimace, the Hamburglar, Birdie or newcomer Cactus Buddy.  Sadly, no Ronald McDonald.

The meals will be available between Monday, October 3rd and the end of October.  Of course, supplies could run out before that.  And, as is the case with many fast food chain promotions, participation may vary from restaurant to restaurant.
