Maine Police Getting Back To Normal
We just passed the one-year mark last month in Maine making changes due to the coronavirus. One group that had to make some changes but still be there for the community was our police departments.
While the Center for Disease Control & Prevention as well as the Maine Chiefs of Police Association did not make any official recommendations it was an issue that very much on the forefront for them.
According to centralmaine.com some departments did go into an ‘emergency' mode and others just made modifications to their daily duties. Let’s face it our law enforcement evaluates individual situations every day and makes the best decisions at the moment.
But just know things are getting back to a more normal routine and attitude. Even the courts have made adjustments to catch up and deal with their business that has to be addressed.
You, my friend, have been warned.
