Maine Ranks #7 For Working Women

With Mother's Day coming on Sunday it's good to note that more than 70% of moms with children are working.

There is a map on wallethub.com that shows the raking of states for working women, which are the best and worst. Maine did very well coming in 7th overall.

While Maine ranked 7th overall the state came in at #14 on child care (not bad), #6 in professional opportunities (very good) and # 10 in overall work/life balance.

The number one state in Vermont with a ranking of #3 on child care, #1 in professional opportunities, and #5 in work/life balance.

The lowest on the list for working women in Iowa (just below Louisiana and Alabama). Iowa ranking at #51 on child care, #48 in professional opportunities and #20 in work/life balance.
