Maine State Police Shut Down Rumors About Border Detail

Since the stay at home order that was issued by the Governor yesterday, the old Maine rumor mill has been hard at work.

The latest rumor is that the Maine State Police that people are seeing stationed in cruisers on the Piscataqua River Bridge are there to pull over out of state plates and send them back home.

That, however, just isn't true. An early morning Facebook post from the MSP has cleared that up pretty quickly. Turns out they're there because of, big shocker here, road construction!
