
New England Patriots All-Time Leader in All-Purpose Yards, Kevin Faulk, Officially Retires
One of the all time great New England Patriots is officially retiring today. Running back Kevin Faulk, the Patriots' second-round draft pick in 1999 out of Louisiana State, will announce his retirement during a ceremony at the Hall at Patriot Place at Gillette Stadium.
Faulk is the franchise's all-time leader in all-purpose yards (12,349), kickoff return yards (4,098), and receptions by a running back (431, which ranks fifth overall). The second-round draft pick in 1999 out of Louisiana State played in 161 games over 13 seasons and was named to the Patriots' 50th Anniversary team.
