New Traffic Pattern In Downtown Augusta
According to a press release from the Augusta Police Department, there will be a traffic pattern change to Rail Bed Parking Lot.
"On Monday August 3, 2020, the traffic direction in the Rail Bed Parking Lot will be reversed from a north-tosouth direction to now a south-to-north direction. Vehicles will no longer be allowed to enter from the Bridge Street end, access to the Rail Bed Parking Lot will be from the Winthrop Street end only."
It is important to note that this IS NOT Commercial Street. It is the next "street" up. It is the gravel path that runs between Commercial Street and Dickman Street (the street that you take to access the parking garage.
