New World Record Semi-Truck Jump Set
At ‘Evil Knievel Days' in Butte, Montana, Gregg Godfrey set a new world record for the longest semi-truck jump.
Godfrey owned the record he broke. In 2008 he set the record with a jump of 50 feet. In 2014 he set another record by jumping 83 feet over a moving formula one car.
The new world record was an incredible ‘166 feet’ in a semi-truck more than doubling his old record of 80 feet. He said he was trying for 140 feet but hit the ramp just right to make the extra 26 feet.
