Odd Maine Laws

As I was getting ready to do the morning show today, I came across some odd laws around the country. There's a law in New Jersey where drivers can be fined if a dog's head is hanging out of a car window. Another one in San Jose, California, where it's illegal for grocery stores to provide plastic bags. In Concord, MA you can't sell or distribute bottled water. That got me thinking about odd laws in Maine, here's a few that I found.

In Augusta, it's against the law to stroll down the street while playing a violin. In Waterville, it's illegal to blow your nose in public. Maine is one of four states that do not allow billboards. It's illegal in Maine to catch a lobster with your bare hands. It's also illegal in Maine to own an Armadillo! Who knew? There are several more odd laws in Maine, check them out right here.
