One Night Only – Augusta Elks Hosting Christmas Pop Up Bar

It may be hard to believe, but this is the last weekend before Christmas.  Your last chance to go out and have some fun with your friends!

If you are planning to go out on Saturday, one of your stops needs to be the pop-up Christmas bar at the Augusta Elks Lodge.

Normally, the lodge is only open to members and their guests, but for this one night, any adult can stop by to join in the festivities.

The event will run from 7 PM to 10 PM on Saturday (December 17th).  Just check in with the bartender so she can sign you in.

There'll be Christmas drink specials, cookie decorating, an ugly sweater contest, and karaoke by Magical Music Jam

They went all out when it comes to decorating for the event, too.  Take a look:

Like a lot of businesses and organizations, the Elks took the down time during the pandemic to do some renovations.  They started the process of updating their banquet facilities and they did some amazing work on the downstairs sports bar.

If you have ever considered joining the Elks, this is a great opportunity for you to come check out the facility and learn more about the organization and all they do for the community.

According to Wikipedia, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks was founded in 1868 in New York City.  Currently, there are just under 2,000 local lodges spread across the country.  The organization is well known for their charity work with veterans organizations and youth organizations.
